Within Telraam’s network reports, you’ll find pre-configured graphs that you can explore directly in your browser. These reports provide insights into traffic patterns, trends, and comparisons across different road segments. We offer three main reporting options, which are explained in more detail below: (1) reports per road segment, (2) reports to compare traffic on network-level to typical patterns and (3) reports to compare two segments and/or time periods.
1. Reports per road segment
View and analyze detailed traffic data for a specific road segment. This report includes all the graphs from the public page (example), but with more functionalities like a longer date range selection, additional graphs, monthly reports and trend analysis.
Where to find them?
Go to your network dashboard
Click on Reports
Open the advanced data for the road segment you’re interested in
Use filters (e.g., postal code, specific track or 'individual installation') if needed.
💡 What does ‘Individual Installation’ mean? By default, data is shown at the segment level, meaning that all Telraam devices on the same road segment are included in the calculations. If multiple devices exist on one segment, an average is taken. If you want to view data from a specific Telraam device (e.g., the one installed by you or within your network), enable the ‘individual installation’ filter. This is also required for viewing private Telraam data, as private data is only accessible at the installation level. |

2. Reports for comparing traffic to typical network patterns
If you're looking to answer questions like “Are more people in our network choosing to bike over time?”, this reporting option is worth exploring! It provides insights at the network level, helping you analyze modal shifts across the entire network.
Specifically, this report compares traffic levels during a selected period with the typical traffic at the network level. It uses typical data. The results remain reliable even if some devices are temporarily inactive—this is accounted for in the underlying calculations.
Where to find them?
You find this in the report section of your network dashboard, second option "compare traffic with the typical data".

3. Reports for comparing two segments and/or time periods
If you’re looking to answer questions like “Did the newly implemented one-way street shift traffic to a parallel road?” or “Has the introduction of a school street changed traffic volume or modal split?”, this report is the right tool for you.
It allows you to analyze differences between two locations or assess changes before and after an intervention within the same segment. Based on typical traffic data, this report is particularly useful for evaluating the impact of specific measures.
A similar tool is available in the export section, named "Street Sheet", allowing you to compare two periods for a single segment. The export "Street Sheet" adds value by providing access to the raw data used for graphs and calculations, giving you the flexibility to adjust visualizations or refine your analysis as needed.
Where to find them?
You find this in the report section of your network dashboard, third option "Compare two segments and periods".
